Record the 12th TCT Asia Exhibition - Baoji Yumingda Metal Delves into New Trends in Additive Manufacturing

From March 17th to 19th, 2026, the 12th TCT Asia 3D Printing and Additive Manufacturing Exhibition opened grandly at the Shanghai National Exhibition Center. The core technology and sales team from Baoji Yumingda Metal Materials Co., Ltd., which comes from the "China Titanium Valley", arrived at the scene in person to deeply observe the cutting-edge achievements in the industry, accurately capture the development trend of additive manufacturing, and lay a solid information support for optimizing the layout of titanium material products for additive manufacturing and expanding the global market.

Yumingda Metal has been deeply engaged in the titanium and titanium alloy fields for many years, rooted in the Baoji High-tech Development Zone, relying on the complete industrial chain advantages of "China Titanium Valley", mainly producing titanium forgings, rods, plates, strips, foils, and titanium wires for additive manufacturing, and exporting to 20 countries around the world, widely used in core fields such as aerospace, medical, new energy, and marine engineering. During this exhibition, the team focused on three core directions: innovation in metal additive manufacturing materials, equipment process iteration, and application scenario expansion, and visited the metal additive manufacturing area in Hall 7.1 and the materials and equipment exhibition area in Hall 8.1, conducting in-depth exchanges with domestic and foreign industry leaders, research institutions, and end-users.

At the exhibition site, the Yumingda Metal team focused on observing core contents such as titanium alloy powder preparation technology, high-precision titanium rod and wire forming process, and performance testing solutions for additive manufacturing titanium materials. The real air atomization titanium alloy powder products displayed by many domestic and foreign exhibitors have high sphericality and excellent fluidity, suitable for mainstream additive manufacturing processes such as SLM, EBM, and LMD; some enterprises launched additive manufacturing-specific titanium rods and wires with diameter precision controlled within ±0.01mm and surface roughness reaching Ra0.8μm, which can be directly used as 3D printing blank materials, significantly reducing post-processing costs. At the same time, the team deeply understood the progress of multiple laser printing, large-size component forming, and intelligent process monitoring technologies, and discussed with multiple equipment manufacturers the optimization plans for the compatibility of titanium materials and equipment, accumulating rich resources for subsequent joint research and customized material cooperation.

The exhibition areas in the aerospace and new energy fields also yielded significant results. The Yumingda Metal team exchanged with aerospace enterprises about the performance requirements of titanium alloy components for aerospace engine and fuselage structural parts for additive manufacturing, and learned that high-end titanium materials need to meet strict standards such as high purity, low oxygen content, and strong batch stability.

Yumingda Metal will take this exhibition as an opportunity to deeply integrate industry resources, continuously optimize the research and production of core products such as titanium alloy powder, precision titanium rods, and medical titanium materials, and strengthen quality control and delivery capabilities. At the same time, it will strengthen cooperation with upstream and downstream industries in research, education, and industry, promote the deep integration of titanium materials and 3D printing processes, and help the aerospace, medical health, and new energy fields achieve high-end manufacturing upgrades, making the manufacturing strength of the "China Titanium Valley" go global.
